In Natalie’s strange and dream fuelled world, her music is an affinity of poetic lyrics and artistic imagination, inspired by and eclectic mix of artists from Portishead to Karen Dalton, and Tom Waites to Bjork in her tender, ruminative songs.
Natalie is an artist, vocalist and composer from London.
After a BA Honors degree in Performance Art and Costume Design at Central St Martins, she was chosen to be the featured British artist 2018 in Cuba, with her costume work funded by the British embassy, premiered on national television and showcased at the National Museum of Fine Arts, then followed by a tour of the contemporary galleries including FAC Arts Centre and Cuban Fashion Week.
Alongside graduation in 2018, she has worked as a freelance musician. She has performed with projects across the UK and Europe and appeared on commercially released recordings with Rhythm Section Records. Some highlights include performances at The Southbank Centre, Ronnie Scotts Jazz club and Roundhouse Rising Festival.
Natalie has just finished studying an MA in Jazz vocals at Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
More recently, Natalie has worked with The Royal Academy of Arts (2018-2019) as a showcased artist and workshop leader and deviser involving improvised, contemporary vocal sounds and surrealist costume and set design.
At the age of 25 she has just released her debut music, premiered with a short film directed and designed by Natalie herself and collaborated with artists such as Sonia Odedra (Tim Walker).
In July 2021 Natalie will be releasing a duo EP with celebrated pianist Matt Robinson (Snowpoet) under the name Wanderland. The first release has already been chosen as BBC Introducing's 'Record of the Week' and will be accompanied by another music video directed and designed by her, which will bring you into their romantic and adventurous land.
